We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team.
As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our properties.
We have 3 properties located in Ocean City, NJ that we rent year round on short term rental platforms like AirBnb.
Responsibilities:
Promptly address and complete minor maintenance tasks as needed.
Be available to respond to emergency calls at the property 24/7.
Collaborate with our property host to swiftly resolve any issues affecting the property.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds to high standards.
Oversee the proper disposal of trash, ensuring curbside pickup and removal.
Regularly inspect and maintain the functionality of security cameras and door locks.
Ensure all lighting fixtures are operational, providing a safe and well-lit environment for residents and visitors
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role - Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques - Proficient in using hand and power tools - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and team members Office Location:
Ocean City, NJ Hours May - September:
10 to 20 hours a week October - April:
5 to 10 hours a week We offer competitive pay based on experience.
